Now communities across the city are fighting back and telling Mayor Daley and the City Council that we need more affordable housing. Join Bickerdike’s Affordable Housing Committee and the city-wide Balanced Development Coalition in the fight to make 30% of every new development affordable. Rally for Affordable Housing Tuesday, July 30 We will start at 10 AM at the Department of Housing and then march to the Daley Plaza to demand that Daley and the rest of the city government make sure Chicago has housing that everybody can afford.
