I forwarded the E-Mail and my brain translated the date to "Sept 4" because that was "tommorrow" at the time of the e-mail. I then sent a note telling people that the press conference had been cancelled because CHA conceded to the demands of the Union. I never reviewed this issue. I will post this clarification to the CPPH list. Thanks for looking out. Mr. Square shoved and knocked down Delores Fitzpatrick when she tried to attend a working group meeting which was discussing the future of the Ida B. Welles public housing development. Mr. Square is quick to tell anyone who will listen how well he has done financially in the redevelopment of Madden/Welles/Darrow public housing complexes. His personal financial stake in this process certainly doesn't justify the use of force to block public housing tenants from public meetings regarding the fate of the homes in which they live. Moving with Faith is an active participant in the Chicago Coalition to Protect Public Housing (CPPH). Please join CPPH as we attend court tommorrow in support of Ms. Fitzpatrick and in defense of the right of tenants to participate in deciding their fate and the future of the developments they live in without fear of assault. __________________________________________________ Yahoo! - We Remember 9-11: A tribute to the more than 3,000 lives lost http://dir.remember.yahoo.com/tribute ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Your use of Yahoo!
